With the removal of the restrictions on the importation of citrons in Russia and South Africa, a greater quantity of citrons for the festival of the Tabernacles has been sent out by commercial firms. As a consequence fewer citrons have been sent by indviduals in Palestine to their friends and relatives in these countries.
