The Palestine Government today announced a plan for the demobilization of men in the armed forces similar to the British demobilization plan.
The problem of resettlement of demobilized Palestine Jewish soldiers was one of the major subjects of discussion today at a plenary session of the Jewish National council. Return of the Mizrachi organization to active participation in the council was predicted following the adoption of a resolution on Sabbath observance which would ban the transportation of men and goods on Saturdays by Jewish drivers.
