The Palestine Government today expressed its sympathy “for the European Jewish communities suffering at the hands of the enemy” in a message sent to the Jewish National Council of Palestine. The message emphasized the determination of the British Government “in common with other Allies to bring to a speedy end the enemy’s intolerable regime of crime.”
An appeal to the National Educational Association in Washington to approach the United States Government to rescue Jewish children from Nazi Europe was cabled today by the Jewish Teachers Federation here.
