The formation of a new economic advisory council for the purpose of coordinating the work of various government departments in connection with civilian economic activities, was announced here last night by Sir Harold MacMichael, High Commissioner for Palestine.
The new body will be composed of four Jews, four Arabs and two Englishmen. It will be known as the War Economic Advisory Council. District Commissioner Ralph Crosbie will head the new agency. The other Englishman in the group will hold the post of secretary.
