A grant of $13,000 was made by the Palestinian government toward the suuport of school gygiene, anti-trachoma and infant welfare work maintained by Hadassah, it was announced at the New York offices of the organization.
The amount marks an increase of about $3,000 over last year’s grant, it was pointed out by Mrs. David Greenberg, national chairman of the Palestine committee of Hadassah, who also stated that the total amount expended for this work each year approximated $75,000.
