The figures for Palestine imports and exports during the years 1924, 1925 and 1926 are given in a report which has just been issued here. The total imports amounted in 1924 to £ E.5,589,679, in 1925 to £ E.7,603,923 and in 1926 to £ E.6,513,331. The total exports amounted in 1924 to £ E.2,120,931, in 1925 to £ E.1,588,157 and in 1926 to £ E. 1,497,921.
Exports of Palestine produce amounted in 1924 to £ E.1,200,812, in 1925 to £ E.1,297,539 and in 1926 to £ E.1,275,625. Exports in transit amounted in 1924 to £ E.61.002, in 1925 to £ E.48,752 and in 1926 to £ E.33,811. Exports of specie amounted in 1924 to £ E.717,275, in 1925 to £ E.102,145 and in 1926 to £ E.13,356. Re-exports of foreign goods amounted in 1924 to £ E.141,842. in 1925 to £ E.139,701 and in 1926 to £ E.175,129.
Imports for consumption amounted in 1924 to £ E.5,266,349. in 1925 to £ E.7,338,491 and in 1926 to £ E.6,429,245. Imports in transit amounted in 1924 to £ E.136,138, in 1925 to £ E.71,776 and in 1926 to £ E.73,257. Imports of specie amounted in 1924 to £ E.187,192. in 1925 to £ E.193,656 and in 1926 to £ E.10,835.
