The Palestine government has granted 100 immigration certificates to Jewish children from Hungary and 100 to Jewish youths from Rumania, Eliahu Golomb, Histadruth leader, announced at a press conference here today.
Queried on the possibility of securing certificates for Jewish children in Greece, Golomb replied that the difficulties involved in getting young Jews out of Greece were “enormous” but that a special committee now meeting “somewhere in the Middle East” is considering the problem.
