Palestine is fast becoming a Jewish haven said Rabbi Wolf Gold, president of the Mizrachi, in an address at Congregation Poiley Tzedeck.
“Palestine is destined to become a land for a renaissance of Judaism as well as a haven for Jews from all European countries,” he said. “It is the only place in the world today that is making any economic progress. In restoring the soil to the people of Israel, the Mizrachi is also helping to restore the very soul of Israel.”
The address marked the opening of a Mizrachi fund drive.
