The opinion of the Prince of Wales on the importance of recent developments in Palestine is contained in a letter from the Prince to Sir Herbert Samuel, which was made public today by the Palestine Government.
In his letter, which was written on the occasion of the opening of the Palestine Pavillion at the Wembly Exposition, the Prince congratulates Palestine on “the splendid manner in which the history and the natural resources of the country are represented in the Palestine Pavillion. I hope the people of Palestine will receive a great practical advantage from the Wembly Exposition. I am sure that the people of England will benefit from learning of the industries and the history of Palestine which is identified with the rise of civilization”, the letter concludes.
