Prominent Jewish leaders in Palestine were among the large crowd attending the funeral yesterday of Fakhir Nashashibi, pro-British Arab leader who was assassinated in Baghdad on Sunday.
Among the Jewish leaders present were Chief Rabbi Usiel; Moshe Shertok, chief of the political department of the Jewish Agency, Isaac Ben-Zvi, chairman of the Vaad Leumi and Daniel Auster, vice-mayor of Jerusalem.
