Palestine Jewish manufacturers will spend $25,000,000 in the United States during 1946 for machinery, equipment and raw materials, it was announced here today by Aryeh Shenkar, president of the Manufacturers Association of Palestine. In 1939 Palestine imports from the United States totalled only $8,000,000. “Our industries in Palestine can become an important medium to develop strong industrial ties between the U.S. and other countries,” said Mr. Shenkar.
