Greetings to Gen. de Gaulle, on the occasion of the liberation of Paris were cabled today by the Jewish National Council of Palestine.
“Palestine Jewry,” the message said, “sends heartfelt greetings from Zion and Jerusalem on the joyous occasion of the liberation of Paris, the city which is a symbol of human liberty, equality and fraternity. All honor to the heroes of France and of the Allied armies fighting for the revival of France, the complete defeat of Nazi Germany, and the liberation of all oppressed nations still suffering under hostile Nazi domination.”
