Criticism has been voiced by the local Jewish press of the evidence given by Isaiah Braude, the first Jewish witness before the Inquiry Commission. The “Doar Hayom” says his testimony was a great disappointment and the “Davar” criticizes him for speaking of the ideal of a Jewish state as “childish.”
