Closing its annual convention here today the League for Labor Palestine adopted a resolution backing the Jewish Agency for Palestine in its rejection of 220 labor immigration certificates for the current four months ending July 31.
Other resolutions urge the League of Nations to oppose reported schemes to divide Palestine; demand that Groat Britain carry out the terms of its mandate; appeal to the British Labor Party to support demands of the Jewish Agency and the Histadruth for increased immigration and removal of land purchase restrictions; voice sympathy for the Loyalist cause in Spain; condemn pogroms in Fascist and near-Fascist countries, and call attention of American Jewry to the investment possibilities in Palestine.
Rabbi Samuel Wahl was elected national chairman of the League, with Rabbi Edward L. Israel of Baltimore chairman of the National execut
