Palestine and other countries in the Middle East may figure in the American-British-Russian conference in Moscow as a result of the recent visit of Ivan Maisky, Soviet Vice-Commissar for Foreign Affairs, to this part of the world, it was predicted here today.

The prediction was also based on the fact that Anthony Eden, British Foreign Minister, conferred with a number of Egyptian leaders as well as with leaders of other Arab countries now in Cairo, prior to his departure from here for Moscow. British circles here emphasized that Eden, in his talks with the Arab representatives, did not touch on the question of the projected Pan-Arab Federation.

Observers here are convinced that the Russian Government is now greatly interested in the Middle East, especially in the countries lying on the Mediterranean. A Russian legation will soon be opened in Egypt and Soviet information offices may also be opened soon in other Arab countries.
