Further measures to check terrorist activities in Palestine were decided upon today at a meeting of leading military and civil officials under the chairmanship of Field-Marshal Gort, Palestine High Commissioner.
A military tribunal today sentenced Abraham Eisenberg, a 23-year-old Jerusalem resident, to ten years imprisonment on the charge that a detonator and a hand grenade were found on him. Eisenberg, it was established, does not belong to any terrorist group. He was arrested during an excursion when the arms were discovered in a bag the ownership of which he denied.
