A memorial meeting to mark the fourth anniversary of the death of Thomas Masaryk, first Czechoslovakian President, was held here under the auspices of the Jewish and Czech settlers. The ceremonies were attended by the Czech Consul General, Josef Kadlec, Jozef David, a member of the Czech National Council in London, Moshe Shertok and Eliezer Kaplan of the Jewish Agency, Rabbis Alkalai and Usiel and prominent Yugoslav and Polish officials. Consul General Kadlec, Mr. David and Professor Hugo Bergman, Czech-born rector of the Hebrew University, eulogized Masaryk.
