William G.A. Ormsby-Gore, Colonial Secretary, announced in Commons yesterday that he had authorized the Palestine Government to contribute £5,000 (about $25,000) for maintenance and rehabilitation of Jewish refugees from recent disorders harbored in Tel Aviv, Jaffa and elsewhere.

He also announced an allocation of £15,000 (about $75,000) to erect houses for 100 Arab families whose homes were demolished when Government engineers recently razed a section of the Old City quarter of Jaffa to construct roads.
