Charging contempt of court in connection with the proceedings growing out of the murder of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff, Zionist labor leader, on June 16 of last year, the high court today fined the daily newspaper Davar fifty pounds.
Three other Hebrew newspapers, Mishpatim, Bashaar and the Zionist Revisionist Hazit-Haam, were each fined five pounds.
The trial of the three Revisionist youths held for the murder of Dr. Arlosoroff is expected to begin shortly, preliminary hearings in the case having been concluded last week.
