The protests made several days ago to the Palestine government by the Assefath Hanivcharim, the elected assembly of Jewish Palestine, against unusually severe sentences imposed on Jews picketing enterprises employing Arabs has proved unavailing.

The three men who were sentenced to six-month terms were brought to Jerusalem today to serve their sentences here after they refused to sign good behavior agreements and also to provide the required bonds.

Cables were sent to New York, Warsaw and London labor organizations by the Histadruth, the Central Labor Federation of Palestine, asking the labor groups in those cities to intervene.

The situation in Kfar Saba, where the men were arrested, has grown worse. Seven Jewish employers were listed today as employers of Arab labor.

Recently the Palestine government passed a law forbidding Jewish organizations to place pickets near enterprises employing Arabs. All Jewish Palestine, regardless of group or faction, is united in opposing the government measure.
