Palestine Questions to Come Before Mandates Commission Friday

Questions relating to Palestine will come before the Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, which opened its sessions here today, at the sessions on Friday and Saturday. The sessions were opened by Marquis Theodore.

Sir John Chancellor, assisted by representatives of the Colonial Office, will report for the Palestine administration. Senor Palacios will be the Rapporteur for the petitions of the Agudath Israel and the Vaad Hair on the communities ordinance.

Petitions on the Wailing Wall issue have been received by the Commission from the Vaad Leumi, National Council of Palestine Jews, the General Moslem Conference and the Supreme Moslem Council. M. Rappard will be the Rapporteur.

The Commission will also consider general questions concerning the economic equality, public health and the treatment of nationals in mandated territories of countries, members of the League, as well as the national status of native inhabitants of mandated territories.
