The plight of the Jews in Nazi-oppressed Europe was pictured here today by Chief Rabbi Issac Herzog addressing a meeting of important Palestine rabbis.
The meeting was called to mark the second anniversary of the German invasion of Poland which led to the enslavement of Polish Jewry. An appeal was issued by the gathering to the Jews of the world to at least save the Jewish refugees from Poland who are now stranded in Japan and in Soviet Russia.
