A “Week for the Jews in the Ghettos” was inaugurated at a Histadruth mass-meeting here today to be marked throughout the country by the collection of contributions for a special fund to help the Jews in occupied Poland.
A manifesto issued today by the Histadruth has been sent to all Jewish labor organizations abroad in the hope that they will join in the campaign.
