The Rents Court here, which judges all complaints between landlords and tenants as regards excessive rentals, is quite a success if one is to judge by the number of cases tried there without further appeal.
The court, set up by the Rent Restriction Ordinance, has heard 249 complaints out of 280 submitted in the month of June. Only thirty-six appeals to the Magistrate’s Court of the Palestine Government were made against the decisions handed down by the Rents Court.
