A nation-wide conference of Sephardic leaders which will discuss the consolidation of Sephardic Jewry in Palestine and furnishing guidance to Sephardic Jews throughout the Middle East opened here last night. It was attended by 250 persons.
Speakers urged support for a greater immigration of Oriental Jews to Palestine and stressed the need for aiding them in raising their cultural and social standards.
