Sir Alfred Mondreiterated his optimistic view for the future of Palestine in an interview with the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency upon his return to London following his visit to Palestine.
He will, Sir Alfred stated, advocate a more liberal policy on the part of the British government with regard to Palestine, since the country will ultimately be able to absorb according to expert opinion, three to four million people.
The excess of emigration over immigration is only a temporary fluctuation. Unemployment in the country is not alarming, there being only three to four thousand out of work, while in England there are over one million unemployed, he stated.
