Palestinian gunmen opened fire on Jerusalem’s Gilo neighborhood, drawing return Israeli fire. Battles also erupted near the West Bank cities of Jenin and Hebron. In response to another West Bank shooting, the Israeli army uprooted 250 olive trees the Palestinian gunmen used as cover.
