Palestinian officials refuted reports in the Israeli press that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had confirmed in writing that he was ready for a 13 percent further redeployment in the West Bank. The officials said Netanyahu’s government had leaked the false reports in order to put pressure on the Palestinians to accept Israeli terms for the redeployment.
