A Palestinian who caused the death of 16 bus passengers two months ago pleaded guilty to the act in Jerusalem district court Thursday but denied it was premeditated.
The defendant, Abdul Mahdi Ghanem, a West Bank resident, has been charged with 16 counts of murder and 24 counts of attempted murder.
