Palestinians threw stones at Israeli troops in the West Bank towns of Ramallah, Hebron, Qalqilya and Tulkarm on Thursday. Israeli troops dispersed them with rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas. Tension also rose at the Israeli- Lebanon border when Lebanese gunman opened fire on an Israeli patrol, drawing retaliatory Israeli fire. No one was hurt.
