One hundred Jewish families from Europs will be permitted to enter Paraguay under an agreement just signed by that country and the Hias, the organization announced here today.
The majority of the 100 families will become farmers outside of the capital city of Asuncion, according to the agreement, which the Hias has undertaken to implement. The organization’s representatives in Paraguay will make all arrangements for settling the immigrants as well as for transporting them from Europe.
