A memorandum urging pardons for those condemned to death as a result of last Summer’s riots has been presented to High Commissioner Chancellor by the Brith Shalom society. In the meantime a joint meeting of the Vaad Leumi and the Zionist Executive decided that the Jews should not intervene in this serious political matter.
