“Parents’ Magazine,” a publication on child guidance, today announced that henceforth it will refuse to publish any advertising copy in which the terms “restricted,” “selected guests,” etc. appear. in a statement explaining its decision, George J. Hecht, publisher of the magazine, stated that spreading such prejudicial advertisements “on the pages of reputable magazines is, we feel, not in the interest of the development of the best democratic institutions,”
