Several thousand women who attended meetings in fifteen sections of the city on Monday under the auspices of Ivriah, the Women’s Division of the Jewish Education Association have adopted the plan of serving a “summons” on Jewish parents who fail to give their children a religious education. The women will conduct a home to home canvass in the course of which they will leave the “summons” in the homes.

It is the aim of Ivriah to increase the registration of the Jewish religious schools this year by at least ten thousand, and the “summons” which is printed in the form of the koral document is expected to help in persuading Jewish parents to send their children to Jewish religious schools. Mrs. Gabrief Hamburger is in general change of the work for which she has secured the cooperation of Temple Sisterhoods. Women’s Auxiliaries of Synagogues. Jewish Parents Association and other Women’s Organization.

The summons of parents is being served in the name of the Jewish Community of the City of New York and Your Own Con## as the plainti##s and reads: ## are hereby summoned to answer the complains in this action that you do not send your children to a Jewish religious school. Within seven days after the service of this summons exclusive of the day of service ## In case of your influe to appear or answer you will be held responsible for having falled in your city to your people to yourself and to your children.
