Israeli-French relations were discussed yesterday at a meeting between French Ambassador Francis Hure and Prime Minister Golda Meir. The meeting was officially described as a courtesy call, the ambassador having been abroad when Mrs. Meir assumed office. Informed sources said M. Hure outlined France’s position at the Four Power talks. However, in view of the impending French elections, no subjects with immediate political implications were discussed. Talks centered on the long range aspect of Franco-Israeli relations in the past and their prospects for the future.
