The Jews of Algiers are still in danger, it is asserted in a long article published in L’Intransigeant, a Paris daily.
“The Jewish population living in Algiers is in constant danger,” the paper writes. “We urge for the sake of our sanctity that European military forces be sent there. We urge that propaganda be carried on to remind the Arabs of the teachings of the Koran.”
