Representatives of Jewish organizations in France held a conference here today under the chairmanship of Marc Jarblum, and decided to establish a permanent representation of 19 members to cooperate with the World Jewish Congress. The Consistoire Israelite, the Alliance Israelite and the Jewish Socialist “Bund” did not join the new body.
The conference was addressed by Leon Kubovitzky, general secretary of the Congress, who said that there is no adequate organization, as far as he could see, to represent the Jews of France.
