The Pariser Haint, Yiddish daily, reported today that preparations to send a commission to investigate France’s invitation to colonial Jewish settlement were being made by Jewish organizations here.
According to the newspaper, the local organizations are in contact with American and British groups on the offer made last Saturday by Colonial Minister Marius Moutet.
Negotiations with the Colonial Ministry for assistance to the projected commission will be started next week, it was stated.
