Representatives of the American Embassy, the French government, prominent French Jews and leading American visitors attended the services held Saturday morning at the synagogue on Rue de la Victoite in honor of the American Legion.
Rabbi Dreyfus who officiated recited the Izkor, prayer for the dead, for the American soldiers who fell in the World war. The French and American hymus were rendered on the organ. Jewish veterans of the French army brought their banners to the synagogue during the services.
