The Times said in an editorial yesterday that the radio broadcasts by Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald and High Commissioner Sir Harold MacMichael had “left no doubt that fundamental British policy has not and will not be deflected by terrorism.”
The Sunday Observer reports that the Commission’s report is expected to be ready early in October.
