The discovery of bodies of two guards of Kibbutz Messilot near Beisan, victims of infiltrators from Jordan, disturbed the joy of the first day of Passover in Israel.
An Army spokesman said that cartridges and bullets from a Sten Gun and a British-made rifle were found near the bodies. Traces of two men from the place of ambush led to the Jordanian border, the spokesman said.
