The drive for $15,000 for the aid of Jews in Germany opens Sunday evening with a dinner to be tendered to Dr. Jonah B. Wise, national chairman of the campaign for the relief of German Jews, to be followed by a mass meeting to be held in the Y. M. H. A. auditorium. Dr. Wise will be the principal speaker at the meeting.
Palerson’s campaign committee is headed by Boas Barnert, honorary chairman; Filbert L. Rosenstein, general chairman; Benjamin Horwich, and Herman B. Kitay, vice-chairmen; Fred Salkowitz, secretary; Charles H. Roemer, chairman of the speakers’ committee; and Sarah C. Rabinowitz, executive secretary.
