Paterson’s drive to aid German Jews ended yesterday with a collection of $11,000. The sum is $4,000 less than the quota set.
Judge Filbert L. Rosenstein, general chairman, attributed the deficit to several causes, including weather conditions. Other Jewish affairs and money raising campaigns made it difficult for the drive committee to reach its quota. Additional contributions are expected by Judge Rosenstein during the coming weeks, with the possibility that the quota will be reached.
