The Federation of Jewish Charities, Community Chest, and Jewish Family Service here will receive bequests totaling more than $500,000 under the will of the late Paul Kolber, automobile dealer, it was disclosed today with the publication of an inventory of his estate.
Mr. Kolber, who died last September at 77, was almost entirely unconnected with Jewish community affairs until Albert H. Lieberman, honorary president of the Jewish Family Service and a member of the Federation Board, enlisted his interest about nine years ago. He came to this country as a penniless immigrant. He joined a synagogue for the first time in his life only a few years before his death.
