Israel Ambassador Abba Eban this week-end discussed technical details related to the transfer of the first installment of $26,000,000 in economic aid to Israel in a meeting with Henry A. Byroade, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, at the State Department.
Mr. Eban said after the meeting, which lasted over an hour, that it had been a routine conversation on Israel-American relations, including specifically plans for the transfer of the newly-restored aid. The program for the immediate future was outlined. Actual projects will be worked out with the foreign operations administration. Mr. Eban was accompanied by Reuven Shiloah, Israel Minister Plenipotentiary.
