Mrs. Rose L. Halprin, president of Hadassah, was honored yesterday by the New York chapter of Hadassah, which announced that it will endow in her honor the pediatrics department of the new Hadassah Medical Center to be built in Jerusalem.
Mrs. Irving Mack, president of the New York chapter, said that the chapter had undertaken to raise as its quota for the center, $200,000 to cover the costs of constructing the pediatrics division, which will be known as the "Rose L. Halprin Pediatrics Department."
