The trial of William Dudley Pelley, chief of the anti-Semitic Silver Shirt organization, and his associates, Robert C. Summerville, H. M. Hardwicke and Don Kellog, for alleged violation of the Capital Issues law, began this morning in Buncombe County Superior Court. Judge Wilson Warlick of Newton is presiding. The four are charged with selling allegedly worthless stock of the Gallahad Press.
Robert H. McNeil, of Washington, D. C., J. Y. Jordan Jr., Robert M. Wells and J. F. Ford, are counsel for the defandants.
