Pen Congress Urged to Protest Anti-semitic Persecution

A resolution urging the Fifteenth International PEN Congress to protest anti-Semitic legislation and persecution in European countries was laid before the congress executive today by its Jewish delegates.

The resolution, adopted at a meeting of the Jewish representatives, recommends that the congress ask its branches in all countries to combat anti-Semitism.

The Jewish delegates are I. Steinberg, Leo Koenig, Nachman Maisel, Daniel Tcharny, M. Schalitt, Prof. Saul Tschernichovsky and Zalman Schneour.
