Shimon Peres, Israel’s Transport Minister and Gen. Yitzhak Rabin, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, will be the chief speakers at a National Leadership Conference in Cherry Hill, N.J., Aug. 26-27, where an “extraordinary” Israel Bond drive will be designed in conjunction with a year-long celebration of Israel’s upcoming 25th anniversary. Peres will report on Israel’s economic ills and financial requirements.
The American and Canadian Jewish leaders attending the conference will hear reports on bond sales for the first eight months of 1972 and plans for intensifying community efforts during the next four months, traditionally the most successful for bond salesmen.
