“Permanent economic recovery is dependent upon religious recovery to sustain the vision of an ethical economic order,” Rabbi Samuel M. Gup told the Bryden Road Temple congregation at their last services.
He pointed out that religion denounces the same factors that brought on the depression,–selfishness, greed, corruption in public and private office and class cupidity.
